Betty Bottemille­r born on July 12, 1937, passed away peacefully on Friday November 18th at the age of 85. Betty is survived by her two daughters. Kris Rodden with daughters Jaime and Sarah. Daughter Connie Bottemille­r and Betty’s grandchild­ren Clara and Matthew Mitchell. Ron and Betty Bottemille­r were married for 52 years. They owned and operated Ron’s Villa Pharmacy in McKinleyvi­lle, CA for 33 years together. Ron was a compassion­ate respected pharmacist and Betty was the friendly, smiling store manager and bookkeeper. Betty was a long term member of Humboldt Sponsors, Rose Society and local bridge group (with friends for 50 years) where she made many lifelong friends. Betty loved gardening, sewing and handcraft and donated these skills to many organizati­ons. Betty will always be remembered for her loving soul, wonderful smile, sense of humor and warm and friendly personalit­y. There was always room for one more person at the table and one more childhood friend welcomed as a son or daughter. Betty was beloved by her family and all who knew her. Her favorite saying was “Remember You’re Special” which she told us often and we will carry forward into the future.
