Arcata City Council

When: Special meeting Tuesday at 6 p.m.

Where: City Hall Council Chamber: 736 F St, Arcata

• The special meeting with committee chairs will examine goals for the 2023-24 fiscal year. Focus topics include housing, homelessness and safe streets.

Eureka City Council

When: First and third Tuesdays of the month at 6 p.m.

Where: Eureka City Council chambers, 531 K Street, Eureka

• The council will hold a public hearing on applying for the Competitive Permanent Local Housing Allocation Program.

• The council will consider adopting a policy on serving alcohol at special events.

• The council will consider an ordinance on solid waste.

• The council will hear a report from Humboldt Bay Fire.

Fortuna City Council

When: First and third Monday of every month at 6 p.m.

Where: City Hall council chambers 621 11th Street, Fortuna

• The council will consider authorizing a contract for the city corp yard roofing project.

Humboldt County Board of Supervisors

When: Every Tuesday except for the fifth Tuesday of a month at 9 a.m.

Where: Supervisors chambers, 825 Fifth St., Eureka • The Feb. 21 meeting is canceled.

Redwood Coast Energy Authority

When: Fourth Thursday of each month at 3:30 p.m.

Where: Meetings are held via Zoom at https://us02web.zoom. us/j/81972368051, previously at Humboldt Bay Municipal Water District’s board room at 828 Seventh St., Eureka

• The board will consider extending membership to RCEA to the Yurok Tribe.

• The board will be introduced to the new director.

• The board will discuss relocating the office.

Rio Dell City Council

When: First and third Tuesdays of each month at 6:30 p.m.

Where: Rio Dell City Hall council chambers, 675 Wildwood Ave., Rio Dell

• The council will consider an agreement with T-Mobile for a cell tower.

• The council will consider approving earthquake-related expenses.

• The council will consider a one-time bonus for workers who responded to seismic activity.
