Arcata City Council

When: First and third Wednesday of every month at 6 p.m.

Where: City Hall Council Chamber: 736 F St, Arcata

• The council will consider raises for council members.

• The council will consider approval of a rental inspection program.

• The council will hear an update on the Gateway Area Plan engagement process.

• The council will consider a resolution on a homebuyer downpaymen­t assistance program.

Arcata Planning Commission

When: Second and fourth Tuesdays of every month at 6 p.m.

Where: City Hall Council Chamber: 736 F St, Arcata

• The commission will discuss the General Plan update with emphasis on land use and growth.

Blue Lake City Council

When: Fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m.

• The council will discuss a contract with Mercer Fraser for wastewater treatment plant replacemen­t work.

• The council will discuss the continued use of Zoom for meetings.

• The council will discuss a dog ordinance.

• The council will discuss the salary scale for fiscal year 202223.

Fortuna Planning Commission

When: Second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m.

• The Feb. 28 meeting of the planning commission is canceled.

Humboldt County Board of Supervisor­s

When: Every Tuesday except for the fifth Tuesday of a month at 9 a.m.

Where: Supervisor­s chambers, 825 Fifth St., Eureka

• The board will consider a resolution proclaimin­g the end of the emergency related to COVID-19.

• The board will consider requesting proposals for edible food recovery.

• The board will consider an informatio­n-sharing agreement related to the Dec. 20, 2022, earthquake.

• The board will receive a report from the probation department on an exception for temporary employment.

• The board will hear a report from the sheriff’s office on bids for a re-entry resource

center.

• The board will meet in closed session to discuss a case of existing litigation.

Humboldt County Human Rights Commission
