Colleen Frances Rebello
Colleen Frances Rebello (Cantlon) 68, passed from this physical world on January 12, 2023, at home surrounded by family. A heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at OHSU for their tremendous care and support; and OHSU case management, Providence Hospice and Life Flight ambulance for facilitating her move from the medical ICU to her home in Lake Oswego. Colleen was born in Spokane, WA on April 12, 1954, when her family lived in Tacoma, WA (something about an airplane/stork). Colleen lived most of her early life in Eureka, CA where she married the love of her life (and best friend) Gary Rebello in 1975. ly settled in Lake Oswego in 1989 for the duration of her life. Colleen lived her life by two simple words, Celebrate Life. It is not an exaggeration to say Colleen had a positive impact on virtually everyone she met. Colleen was a wife, mother, nana, artist, jeweler, singer, musician, dog breeder/dog lover, mentor, Doernbecher volunteer, camp counselor, friend and a living example of Christ. We will miss you every day for the rest of our lives. Colleen is survived by her husband Gary, daughter Alli, son Jesse, grandson Reece, daughterin-law Amanda, sisters Marie, Sharron and Susan, brothers John and Mike and her Irish Water Spaniels Ivy and Pearl. Colleen was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Catherine, brothers Tim and Frank and her sister Cathy Lou. Please join in the celebration of Colleen’s life and her birthday at Resurrection Catholic Parish in Tualatin (I-205 and Stafford Road) on Friday April 14th. Memorial mass at noon followed by a reception/party. Dress is casual (no suits or ties).
