Editor's note: The following is a list of the board, commission and council meetings that are scheduled in the coming week around Humboldt County.
Arcata City Council
When: First and third Wednesday of every month at 6 p.m., special meeting at 5:30 p.m.
Where: City Hall Council Chamber: 736 F St., Arcata
• During the special meeting at 5:30 p.m., the council will meet in closed session to discuss property negotiations.
• During the regular meeting, the council will consider the purchase of three 2025 Ford Police Interceptors from Harper Motors for $173,634.11.
• The council will discuss parking standards in the General Plan.
• The council will consider approving a U.S. Highway 101 and Sunset Avenue interchange project.

Eureka City Council
When: First and third Tuesdays of the month at 6 p.m., closed session at 5 p.m. Where: Eureka City Council chambers: 531 K St., Eureka
• During closed session at 5 p.m., the council will conduct labor negotiations with the Eureka Police Officers Association and existing litigation between the city and Citizens for a Better Eureka.
• During the regular meeting at 6 p.m., the council will consider a request to destroy police records from 2012 and 2016.
• The board will consider awarding Hooven and Co. more than $1 million for solar improvements.
• The board will hear a midyear budget report.

Ferndale City Council
When: Third Wednesday of every month at 6 p.m.
Where: Ferndale City Hall: 834 Main St., Ferndale
• The council will receive an update on the Salt River project.
• The council will discuss road maintenance projects.
• The council will consider renewing contracts for the city attorney and the city auditor.

Fortuna City Council
When: First and third Monday of every month at 6 p.m.
Where: City Hall council chambers: 621 11th St., Fortuna
• The council will hear a presentation from Natalynne DeLapp about Measure A.
• The council will consider a supplemental budget allocation for Fortuna police to cover the purchase of an $8,000 drone. The city denied a request for reimbursement of the drone that was purchased after the council approved the expenditure.
• The council will consider for

Humboldt County Board of Supervisors
When: Every Tuesday except for the fifth Tuesday of a month at 9 a.m.
Where: Supervisors chambers: 825 Fifth St., Eureka
• The Feb. 20 meeting is canceled.
McKinleyville Municipal Advisory Committee's Subcommittee for Incorporation Exploration
When: Third Wednesday of the month at 4 p.m.
Where: McKinleyville Community Services District Office: 1656 Sutter Ave, McKinlelyville
• The committee will hear a presentation from Scott Adair, the county's economic development director.
• The committee will review a draft of a letter requesting county support.

Redwood Coast Energy Authority
When: Fourth Thursday of each month at 3:30 p.m.

• The board will consider authorizing participation in the first phase of the California Community Power Build-Own-Transfer Agreement Solicitation.

Rio Dell City Council
When: First and third Tuesdays of each month at 6 p.m.
Where: Rio Dell City Hall council chambers: 675 Wildwood Ave., Rio Dell
• The council will meet in closed session for labor negotiations with unions representing city employees.
• The council will consider approving a letter of opposition to AT&T's efforts to end landline service.
• The council will discuss a waiver of sewer fees for homes that are red-tagged.
• The council will have a second reading of an ordinance that modifies city zoning rules.
