Unions stand behind Wilson in 3rd District race

Third District Supervisor Mike Wilson announced a growing list of endorsemen­ts from area labor unions.

The following unions have endorsed Wilson for re-election: Building and Constructi­on Trades Council of Humboldt and Del Norte Counties; UNITE HERE Local #49; Humboldt and Del Norte Counties Central Labor Council; California Associatio­n of Profession­al Scientists; AFSCME Local #1684; LiUNA Laborers Local #324; and Operating Engineers Local Union #3.

Hicks receives multiple new endorsemen­ts

Rusty Hicks, the candidate for State Assembly District 2, announced an endorsemen­t from former Stockton Mayor Michael Tubbs and his organizati­on, End Poverty in California Action.

Additional­ly, local educators, statewide teachers organizati­ons, education groups and California Environmen­tal Voters endorsed Hicks.
