Unions stand behind Wilson in 3rd District race
Third District Supervisor Mike Wilson announced a growing list of endorsements from area labor unions.
The following unions have endorsed Wilson for re-election: Building and Construction Trades Council of Humboldt and Del Norte Counties; UNITE HERE Local #49; Humboldt and Del Norte Counties Central Labor Council; California Association of Professional Scientists; AFSCME Local #1684; LiUNA Laborers Local #324; and Operating Engineers Local Union #3.

Hicks receives multiple new endorsements
Rusty Hicks, the candidate for State Assembly District 2, announced an endorsement from former Stockton Mayor Michael Tubbs and his organization, End Poverty in California Action.
Additionally, local educators, statewide teachers organizations, education groups and California Environmental Voters endorsed Hicks.
