Swift, Kelce share viral kiss at show in Sydney

- By Jami Ganz

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce enchanted fans with another viral kiss just after the superstar's first Eras Tour show in Sydney.

In a callback to the 14time Grammy winner's much-discussed show in Buenos Aires, Argentina, last year, the “Anti-Hero” singer changed the lyrics to “Karma” to shout out the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, both 34.

And, just like that November show that quickly made the rounds online, Swift finished her first of four Sydney shows by running off stage and into Kelce's arms for a kiss.

Swift reportedly shouted him out multiple other times during the show. She pointed at the newly minted three-time Super Bowl champ when singing “that's my man” during the performance of “Willow” as well as during the “when they gave us our trophies” lyric of “Long Live.”

Back in November, Swift made headlines for surprising fans, and even Kelce a bit, when she updated the “Karma” lyrics from “Karma is the guy on the screen/ Coming straight home to me” to “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs/ coming straight home to me.” The romantic gesture was quickly overshadowed when the show ended and Swift ran to a waiting Kelce offstage to kiss and embrace him. The kiss, seen from multiple angles, promptly made the digital rounds.

Before showtime, security escorted Kelce through the ecstatic crowd, friendship bracelets covering both wrists — a tradition amongst Eras concertgoers — as he waved and shook hands with screaming fans, as seen on a video tweeted by a fan account.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end touched down in Australia earlier Thursday and spent the day touring the Sydney Zoo with the 14time Grammy winner, also 34.

Rain and reported lightning strikes near Accor Stadium delayed the show — the first of four in Sydney this weekend — according to the venue's post on X. As a result of the delay, the crowd missed out on opening act Sabrina Carpenter.

To make up for it, Swift brought her supporting artist out during the surprise song portion of the set, where the pop stars performed a mash-up of “White Horse” and “Coney Island.”

Last summer, Kelce's crush on Swift made news when he told his “New Heights” co-host and big brother Jason Kelce that he “was a little butthurt I didn't get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her” after one of her shows.

“If you're up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets,” he told the Philadelphia Eagles center, 36. “I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it.”
