Palette & Pattern
An organic twist on traditional blue and white.
Designer Elizabeth Pyne started with everyone’s favorite color—blue— in this entryway, above, calling on Schumacher’s “Brighton Pavilion” wallcovering in peacock to set a stunning canvas. Upholstery on chairs from Artistic Frame adds depth with deeper blue tones, texture, and pattern. As in nature, soft greens and browns give the palette a comfortable, organic vibe. Swaths of white balance the color and the starry glimmer of metallic light fixtures.
