summer just got juicy. And while the window to indulge in peaches and plums at the farmers market may be short, the fruits’ mark on interior palettes bears no apparent expiration date.
That was the consensus at the latest round of trade shows. Plum, a sultry version of often-forgotten purple, and peach, the
pastel that routinely stands in cousin pink’s shadow, dazzled—in bushels. As the main ingredient of an interior (Alexa Hampton’s dining room for her new collection with Theodore Alexander captivated with head-to-toe plum) or in small doses that serve as energizing accents, peach and plum hues provide sophistication and a signature look.
