Pepper Home

Erin Banta and Kelsey Brown became friends as Columbia college students, but the dream to create chic and reasonably priced home accents made them business partners. “As consumers, we found many of the textile products we wanted were well outside our price range, and the ones we could afford weren’t very innovative or appealing,” Banta says. Enter Pepper Home. Boasting traditional influences with a fresh perspective, the hand-painted patterns vary among geometrics, florals, fronds, and polka dots. Living and dining “bundles” take the guesswork out of pattern mixing. You get a curated set of two pillows and a throw, or a set of four placemats, napkins, and cocktail napkins. (
