Tech­ni­cal Large Animal Emer­gency Res­cue Course

The Ken­tucky Horse Coun­cil and Mur­ray State Univer­sity will hold an Oper­a­tions-Level Tech­ni­cal Large Animal Emer­gency Res­cue train­ing to be held July 19-21, 2016, at Mur­ray State Univer­sity’s Equine Cen­ter in Mur­ray, Ken­tucky.

The train­ing will be taught by Re­becca Gimenez, PhD, pres­i­dent of TLAER, Inc. There are two levels of in­volve­ment: par­tic­i­pants and au­di­tors. Par­tic­i­pants will at­tend lec­tures and demon­stra­tions, be in­volved in hands-on train­ing, and will re­ceive oper­a­tions cer­ti­fi­ca­tion for pro­gram com­ple­tion from TLAER. Au­di­tors will ob­serve all lec­tures, demon­stra­tions, and the hands-on ses­sions, but will not par­tic­i­pate in the hands-on por­tion.
