Dust-Free Bedding

Trail Rider - - ON-THE-GO GEAR -

Airlite offers a cleaner, economical alternative to traditional trailer bedding. Airlite uses 100 percent new cardboard and has no dust. It doesn’t break down when trampled and doesn’t aerosolize like shavings, pellets, or straw. Cardboard is four to five times more absorbent than shavings and pulls ammonia out of the atmosphere. Because it’s so absorbent, there’s less waste. Airlite is more durable than shavings, which extends its period of usefulness. Using it in your trailer can eliminate about half of the breathable dust, according to the manufacturer. Airlite composts to pH-neutral mulch in four to six weeks. Cost: See your local retailer. Contact: Airlite America LLC, (855) 884-9420; www.airliteusa.com
