Roughnecks name coach
Tulsa Roughnecks FC announced Friday that Michael Nsien has signed a two-year contract to serve as head coach of the USL Championship club.
Nsien was the team's interim coach after David Vaudreuil was relieved of his duties June 25.
“We are excited to announce Michael as the next head coach of the Tulsa Roughnecks FC,” said team president Barry Williams. “We interviewed several candidates, but Michael stood out from everyone. He is a Tulsa native, is highly respected around the country as a coach, and he shares our vision… .”
Tulsa finished last in the Western Conference in 2018 with a 3-19-12 record.
