Reaffirming the hotel’s position as leader in luxury travel, InterContinental London Park Lane is delighted to announce the launch of The Capital Suite.

Offering intelligent design, allowing various areas of the suite to be separated based on the guests’ needs and desires, as well as a separate entrance into the hotel and a private lift, The Capital Suite is the epitome of tranquility and style.

The ultimate dwelling for international and business travelers, The Capital Suite houses a full-size boardroom, luxurious private office and multiple en-suite bedrooms.

Perfectly situated in central London and boasting state of the art facilities, the 335 square meter suite, created by RPW Design, finds its inspiration from adjacent Hyde Park as well as the nature and the history surrounding the hotel.

With the savvy business or leisure traveler in mind, The Capital Suite provides the ideal setting for guests wanting to make the most of their trip to the effervescent city of London.

Adopting its name from the hotel’s iconic setting in London, The Capital Suite symbolizes both commerce and culture. Naming the suites after the historical site, rooms within the suite bear the names The Wellington suite and The Hamilton suite. Breathtaking views are offered out onto the Arch and Green Park.

Inspired by its location, RPW designers gave great attention to the selection of naturally luxurious materials, with soft leathers, stone and walnut timbers as a basis for the color schemes, creating a classic, natural and relaxing environment of Hyde Park itself.

The historic location of the hotel was used in the artwork and accessories with the incorporation of Hyde Park’s equine traditions. Containing homages to the park with design touches incorporating bespoke handles reminiscent of tree branches in the cabinetry as well bespoke stitching details of the plane, the tree that populates and represents London’s Royal Parks, is geniusly captured in the headboard design in The Hamilton bedroom.
