In her new book, Bündchen reveals she doesn’t just get up and go
1. OIL PULLING
The supermodel rises between 5 and 6 a.m. and immediately swishes coconut oil in her mouth “to clean out all the guck and to detoxify teeth and gums,” she writes in Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life.
2. MEDITATION
After 15 minutes, she spits out the oil and settles in to get centered. “What matters is sitting tall with your spine straight so energy can flow,” notes the 38-year-old, who’s wed to NFL pro Tom Brady.
3. WORKOUT
Next up, she breaks a sweat on the elliptical while listening to audiobooks or YouTube videos about “a subject that fascinates me — say, a series about ancient Egypt or Greece,” says the Brazil native.
4. WATER
Then she downs a glass of water – lukewarm, with half a lemon — while making lunch for kids Benjamin, 8, and Vivian, 5. “I believe strongly in the old saying ‘Let food be thy medicine,’” she notes.
5. HER SANCTUARY
With the kids off at school, Bündchen retreats to her “sanctuary,” a space filled with plants and crystals where she works and sips tea made from chamomile and mint straight from her garden.
