Absolutely ravenous. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
wowed audiences with its first season, earning four Emmy Awards and leaving viewers hungry for more. Rachel Brosnahan returns as Midge for season 2 (Dec. 5 on Amazon), but this time she’s hitting the road, which results in a new wardrobe. “Midge has a fantastic travel ensemble in Paris — such as a good hat with a matching set of gloves, a bag and cute little shoes,” the actress, 28, tells Us.
A NEW MENU While Midge takes on new challenges this season and comes to grips with what being a comic means, she leans on the one thing that always helps: a hearty meal. In fact, the Golden Globe winner has a sandwich named after her at the Carnegie Deli pop-up in NYC. “There’s a scene where Midge lists a whole lot of deli food very, very quickly, all in one sentence,” she teases. “I imagine that maybe it’s inspired by that: a hot pastrami Reuben on rye!” After the success of the first season, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is back with double the adventure (plus food!)
