’Tis the Season... for Exes to Get Along!
They’re keeping up with the friendship! Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick have had their fair share of ups and downs, but lately the exes “are doing amazingly well,” a source tells Us. “Coparenting couldn’t go better… they’re in a better place than ever.” In an Instagram post on Thanksgiving, the Keeping Up With the
Kardashians star, 39, gushed about waking up in the same bed as kids Mason, 9, Penelope, 6, and Reign, 4, and in the same house as their father, 35-year-old Scott. His girlfriend, Sofia
Richie, 20, “was uncomfortable” with the Nov. 22 post, says the source, but she’s been trying not to let it get to her and has been spending quality time with the clan. After announcing their decision to go their separate ways, Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan reunited to take daughter Everly, 5, trick-or-treating on Halloween. The Logan Lucky actor and the World of Dance host, both 38, each have moved on since the split (he’s dating singer Jessie J; she’s with Broadway star Steve Kazee), but there doesn’t seem to be any bad blood between them. “They’ve both handled their split maturely from the start,” a source tells Us. “This whole situation has never been contentious, and there’s never been any animosity or hatred toward each other.”
They separated in 2015, but Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have remained constants in each other’s lives ever since. In addition to attending church together regularly, the exes often reunite for holidays with their kids, Violet, 13, Seraphina, 9, and Samuel, 6. After finalizing their divorce in October, they jetted to Montana to celebrate Thanksgiving as a family on Nov. 22. They spent Christmas together in 2017, and while they may do so again this year, a source tells Us the Camping star, 46, also plans to squeeze in “a romantic getaway” with her love of six months, businessman John Miller, 40, during the holidays. The Cali Group CEO “isn’t jealous” of Jen’s relationship with the Justice
League star, 46, who finished a stint in rehab in September, explains the source: “He understands Jen’s commitment to helping Ben.” After spending Thanksgiving with her ex-husband, Michael Stone, and his new girlfriend (and his new girlfriend’s ex-husband!), Mayim Bialik told Us the experience brought up “more than one emotion.” This was the first time the parents of Miles, 13, and Frederick, 10, spent a holiday together since their split in 2012, but the
Big Bang Theory star, 43, felt it was time. “Doing separate holidays seems excessive and sad,” she says. Getting everyone together “can be terrifying, and awkward, and make you feel really nervous, but there can also be a lot of joy and gratitude in it.” They invented the term “conscious uncoupling,” so it’s no surprise Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin have spent plenty of special occasions together since they separated in 2014. Last Christmas (days after the Coldplay frontman, 41, was first photographed with new love Dakota Johnson), the exes and their kids, Apple, 14, and Moses, 12, soaked up some sun in Antigua. This Thanksgiving, Dakota, 29, and the 46-year-old Goop founder’s new husband,
Brad Falchuk, also joined the festivities. Days before, the uncoupled pair saw the Broadway musical Waitress with their kids: “They looked happy together,” an onlooker tells Us.
“No tension, all smiles.”
