The old Taylor Swift is dead. She told us so in “Look What You Made Me Do,” the first single off 2017’s Reputation, and she wasn’t kidding. The singer-songwriter, who made her career on girl-power-inf lected tales of heartbreak and revenge, may be off the market permanently if her boyfriend of nearly two years, Joe Alwyn, has anything to say about it. “Joe is very keen on proposing soon,” says an insider, “but he wants to make it unforgettable and extremely special.” Which means that after a long, public string of failed relationships, it seems Taylor has finally found The One. “She can be herself and be open with Joe, which is something she really values,” the insider says. “He’s extremely chill. They don’t go out much and mostly hang out watching movies and having friends over. Taylor loves to cook and bake for him.”
HE BELONGS WITH HER
Joe’s unassuming nature is what Taylor loves most about her beau. Unlike her famous exes (see sidebar), the Favourite star “doesn’t care about being in the spotlight. He has shown her a different lifestyle and the value of privacy. It’s a whole different type of relationship for her.” Even at the afterparty for his movie Mary Queen of

instead of partying, “he stayed until 11:30 and then left with his publicist,” says a witness.
MOVING FAST
Ever since realizing she wants to spend forever with Joe, Taylor’s been hitting the gas on their relationship. While she was careful to take things slow at first, she recently changed her tune, introducing him to her parents in Nashville in July and getting close with his mom and two brothers. In fact, once Joe puts a ring on it, babies may not be far behind. “Taylor has always said she wants a big family, and she sees herself having kids with Joe,” says the insider. “He’s her dream guy.”
And when you meet your dream guy, you don’t want to wait to start your life together. When Joe proposes, “Taylor’s going to be over the moon,” says the insider. As well she should be: She’s finally got her perfect love story.
