BYE BYE, VIRGIN BACHELOR?

Colton Underwood talks to Us about season 23 — and whether he can now shed his famous nickname

This season’s Bachelor knows a thing or two about playing coy — especially when it comes to his virginity. “I think a lot of people maybe misunderstood it or still don’t understand why

I’m a virgin. I think those answers might come out this season,” Colton Underwood tells Us.

Except that the answer everybody’s really looking for now that filming has wrapped isn’t why he’s a virgin but if he’s still one.

“Obviously, if I answered that question, I would be spoiling the rest of the season, and I wouldn’t want to do that for you,” the 26-year-old NFL player cheekily says. But he does provide this clue: “I always said from the beginning,

I’m waiting for the right heart and somebody I can share the rest of my life with to share that moment with.”

Even though Colton’s V-card was at the center of all the show’s promotional materials leading up to the season, he tells Us that his biggest frustration while filming was that very topic: “I’m a human being. We’re all human beings, we all have parts of our life that make us into unique individuals. That just happens to be a small part of my life.”

Colton won’t reveal whether he ultimately got down on one knee at the end of the season, but he does say that this is “the happiest [I’ve] ever been,” simply because he found himself during the journey: “I’m not perfect but I have a sense of who I am and what I want to become. I might not have it all figured out, I might not have all the answers, but at least I have a sense of what I want out of life.” Which means we’ll have to tune in to find out the answer to our question!
