Based on the Justin Cronin novels of the same name, Fox’s The Passage imbues virals — a.k.a. vampires — with human emotion. When federal agent Brad Wolgast (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) is ordered to bring in a young girl, Amy Bellafonte (Saniyya Sidney), for testing, he bonds with her — then puts both of their lives on the line. “It’s pretty incredible to see someone her age with such amazing talent and maturity,” Mark-Paul says about working with the 12-year-old. “She’s a special kid.
