Duchess Meghan’s adjustment to motherhood has been a breeze.

-

When Duchess Meghan stepped out in a simple yet chic green dress and sunglasses at a charity polo match in July (baby Archie was her cutest accessory, obviously), she looked like a regular mom. Since welcoming her precious son in May, “Meghan is adjusting to motherhood and is really happy,” a royal insider tells Us, adding that none of this would be possible without her mom, Doria Ragland. “Doria has been a big help with the baby and the life adjustment.” The Duchess of Sussex, 37, also enjoys raising her 2-month-old son in the quaint countryside where Frogmore Cottage is located, rather than bustling London. “She really likes living in Windsor,” says the insider. “It’s much less complicated to have

friends visit, and feels less claustrophobic than Kensington Palace.” Meghan is on such a high right now, she’s not letting body shamers bring her down. (Recent sightings at the Lion King premiere and Wimbledon in July have put the attention on her postbaby body.) “It’s not easy to lose the weight,” notes the insider, “but she’s happy to be a realistic example for new mothers.”

NO. 1 DAD To make things even sweeter, her husband, Prince Harry, 34, has been a constant support for her and Archie. Despite his many royal obligations, the Duke of Sussex “has been amazing and is a real hands-on coparent,” adds the royal insider. Harry’s adoring eyes for Meghan, as seen in all those photo ops, is totally genuine. “None of it is an act.”
