Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose have laid relatively low since March, when their worlds were turned upside down by the nationwide college admissions scandal. (Their parents, Lori Loughlin and husband
Mossimo Giannulli, have been indicted for their alleged involvement in the case.) But in honor of their mom’s 55th birthday on July 28, the girls broke their social media silence to post a warm note to her on Instagram (inset). “They’re showing a united front on social media,” a
source reveals to Us, “but the family is still very strained and there’s a lot of deep-rooted hurt.” GROWING PAINS The past year has been trying for Isabella, 20, and her much more public sister, Olivia, 19, a YouTuber who lost endorsement deals as a result of the scandal. Most recently, the source tells Us, the two were kicked out of their sorority at the University of Southern California. However, the girls are sticking together under the unfortunate circumstances and taking it “day by day,” says the source. “This has strengthened their bond more than anything possibly could.”
