As a supervisor at Scientology’s Celebrity Centre in L.A., Domingo says she often interacted with Cruise’s family. When Cruise himself was in the building — usually accompanied by Scientology leader David Miscavige — no one was allowed to get in elevators with him, and any room he used had to be absolutely spotless. “Everyone is treated like they’re beneath Tom and David,” says Domingo. She recalls the time members of the Sea Org were dispatched to the 57-yearold actor’s home “to do all the electrical and security systems,” she says. “Those are the kinds of special favors Miscavige would do for Tom,” she adds, noting that workers were barely compensated. “Tom knows what Sea Org members get paid. He’s well aware of the labor that’s been afforded to him.”
