Vanderpump Rules costar, Jax Taylor, in 2013, then from a brutal breakup in 2017 initiated by Patrick Meagher on the day of their fourth anniversary. Ouch!
But once Schroeder’s galpals and costars, Kristen Doute and Katie Maloney, introduced her to Beau Clark in February 2018, she finally found a fella worth fighting for — not with. “I didn’t know I could
find someone that we’d just be best friends and love each other,” says the “Straight Up With Stassi” podcast host.
Clark, 39, popped the question with a reported 3-carat round diamond in the Hollywood Forever Cemetery — yes, you read that right — on July 31. “OMG,” Stassi shared on Instagram, “I feel like Meghan Markle.” The beautifully macabre moment was one she’d been waiting for: Days before, the author had joked to Us that Clark needed to “stop dragging his feet” and propose already. With her fairy-tale romance underway, Schroeder’s already planning next steps — and we don’t mean wedding dress shopping. “I always knew I wanted to be a mom,” she reveals. “I’d rather get knocked up [first than] wait to have a wedding.”
That may not be everyone’s definition of “baby steps,” but we dig a nontraditional bride. Mazel!
