Stars really are just like Us! For example, they get emotional when they send their children off to college — even Angelina Jolie. “It’s hard but actually really exciting,” the Maleficent: Mistress of Evil star exclusively told Us at a D23 Expo Walt Disney Studios event in Anaheim, Calif., on Aug. 24, just days after dropping her eldest,

Maddox, off at Yonsei University in South Korea, where he’ll study biochemistry. It was apparent to onlookers at Yonsei just how happy the Oscar winner, 44, is for her son. “After looking through the dorms, she came to us and greeted all of us. And I was lucky enough to shake hands with her,” student Jo Won Bang recounts to Us. “She had small conversations with us, and we took lots of pictures together. I could see how much she cared for Maddox and his upcoming college experience.” FRESHMAN LIFE And Maddox, 18, wasted no time getting settled in. On Aug. 26, he could be seen chatting with his new classmates and making himself at home. Says Jolie, “I’m excited about his choices.”
