Details of Kevin Hart’s terrifying car crash in Malibu — and his painful recovery.

One of Hollywood’s funniest men had a brush with tragedy after suffering “major back injuries” when his car veered off Mulholland Highway in Malibu and landed in a ditch on Sept. 1.

Hart, 40, was a passenger in the car being driven by Jared S. Black, who also suffered

injuries in the accident, as did his fiancée, Rebecca Broxterman.

Hart left the scene and went home before he and Black, 28 — who police say was not intoxicated — were transported to nearby hospitals. The Jumanji star successfully underwent back surgery and is expected to make a full recovery.
