Paul Bettany and Jennifer Connelly, both 48, are one-upping each other at work. The actor told

Us at the D+ event at D23 Expo in Anaheim, Calif., on Aug. 23, that his wife “was jealous” of his part in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But, oh, how the tables have turned! “Now, she’s in f**king Top Gun: Maverick,” he jokes, “so now I’m jealous!” Still, the pair (since 2003) are thankful that their careers brought them together. Says Connelly, “I feel very creatively aligned with him.”

“He started playing guitar and it was all over,” Connelly recalls of meeting Bettany on the set of A Beautiful Mind.
