In 2018, YouTube powerhouse Lilly Singh, a.k.a. IISuperwom­anII, took a break because she was “mentally, physically, emotionall­y and spirituall­y exhausted,” she said at the time. Now she’s back in a big way. Singh, 30, is about to become the first openly bisexual woman of color to host a late-night network show with NBC’s A Little Late

(Sept. 16, 1:35 a.m.). The comic sensation takes Us on an after-dark ride. Q: Did any hosts offer you advice?

I talked a lot to Hasan Minhaj since he’s a good friend. He really guided me. I asked if I’d be pigeonhole­d, and Hasan assured me that doing this show will help me tell the

stories I want. Q: What can your nearly 15 million YouTube subscriber­s expect? Creatively, it’s similar to my YouTube channel but more elevated and aged-up. It’s edgy — I definitely share my point of view.

Queen Beyoncé, Drake to show Toronto pride and Emma Watson. She’s incredibly intelligen­t.
