Candace Cameron Bure has a lot in common with her Fuller House character! The actress tells Us that when it comes to raising her three kids — Natasha, 22, Lev, 21, and Maksim, 19, with hubby Valeri Bure — she considers herself just as “cheesy” as D.J. Tanner. “Listen, [we] are kind of one and the same,” jokes Bure, 45, adding that even though her real-life brood is much older than that of her former TV persona, she’s still equally as protective of them. “It doesn’t matter what ages my kids are,” she says. “I’m a mama bear.” Especially when it comes to online trolls. “I clap back occasionally — but always in kindness,” explains Bure, noting that harsh comments will never stop her from sharing her life on social media. “I’d rather be that person that says… let’s do better [and] keep encouraging the rest of the group that’s listening.”
