Mischa Barton’s out — Caroline D’Amore is in! Meet the Hills: New Beginnings’ latest star

Caroline D’Amore is no stranger to reality TV, thanks to cameos on Keeping Up With the Kardashians and Kourtney & Khloé Take Miami. But now she’ll have a starring role on season 2 of MTV’s The Hills: New Beginnings (May 12, 9 p.m.). Here the DJ, actress and businesswoman (she co-owns D’Amores Pizza) tells Us about joining the show.

Q: Did you know the cast before?

I did [the 2009 film Sorority Row] with Audrina Patridge. Brody Jenner and I went to Malibu High together, and I knew Frankie Delgado from the club scene.

Q: Did anyone give you advice?

Everybody kind of left me to hang out to dry. It was like, you’re the new girl, let’s see what happens. Q: Will fans see your dating life?

You’re going to get a glimpse into what a confusing year it’s been for me. I went through divorce. It’s been [a lot] of rebuilding.

Q: What can you say about your vibe with the others?

I’m just too nice sometimes!
