7:00 a.m.

MORNING CUDDLES Navarro College’s head cheerleadi­ng coach (and star of Netflix’s Cheer!) gives her goldendood­le, Mila, a squeeze before leaving for work, noting, “It’s my favorite way to start the day.”

MAKING PLANS “When I get to my office, I go over my schedule for the day. I’ve always used a planner — it’s a lifesaver!” says the Corsicana, Texas, native, who recently released the book Full Out: Lessons in Life and Leadership from America’s Favorite Coach.

PLAYING CATCH-UP Aldama, 49, stays in touch with as many former athletes as she can. “Morgan Simianer recently moved to Dallas, which is about an hour from Corsicana, so we met for lunch. I’m glad she’s still close!”
