Us that when the Fenty Beauty founder and beau A$AP Rocky, both 33, welcome their first child, they’ll likely be honoring her Barbadian heritage with the baby’s moniker. “She’s so proud of her roots,” shares the source. “She goes back to Barbados as often as she can and has always stayed in touch with the folks she grew up with.” Another insider adds they’ll also make sure to pay tribute to Rocky’s Harlem and African-American roots.
“It’s very important they keep where they are from passed down to their child,” the insider says. Rihanna is “also so proud to have come from a long line of strong, Black women,” the first source adds. “She plans on raising her child the same way and [teaching them] to respect those values.”
