The cast of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel tells Us what to expect in the dramedy’s new season
Midge (Rachel Brosnahan) becomes the captain of her own comedic ship in season 4 of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (Feb. 18 on Prime Video). Still reeling from being kicked off Shy Baldwin’s tour, the comedian demands Susie (Alex Borstein) only book shows where she can freely speak her mind. A difficult feat for her secretly struggling manager, considering the pair have burned bridges with several entertainment icons. (“It’s like a maze and they’ve hit a wall,” Borstein tells Us, “but that doesn’t mean it’s over.”) OY VEY Things are just as complicated in Midge’s personal life: Parents Rose (Marin Hinkle) and Abe (Tony Shalhoub) move into her apartment, which, Shalhoub hints, causes some “dynamic changes” in the family. Meanwhile, Michael Zegen teases things between Midge and her ex Joel remain precarious: “It’s not like he’s just moved on and he’s over it.” Despite all of the uncertainty, Midge — overflowing with chutzpah, talent and optimism — is destined to be a star.
