The story goes that some of Perry’s regular backup dancers had joined Swift’s 2013 Red tour, but Perry asked them to ditch that gig and join her Prismatic World Tour instead — which they did. Many believe that Swift was so angry that she wrote the song “Bad Blood” about the incident. She later admitted that the hit was about someone who once tried to “sabotage” her.
