Just because Deon Derrico and his wife, Karen, have 14 kids at home doesn’t mean the reality stars are opposed to expanding. “We have not shut the factory down, and I can’t tell you when we will,” dishes Deon, 51. “I have that empty nester fear. I want to always have a child, a baby, in the house with us.” While Karen, 41, doesn’t care about the gender of No. 15, Deon wants more sons. “Most of the girls want other girls so they can outnumber the boys, but the boys are trying to rule,” he explains. For now, the Doubling Down With the Derricos stars are focusing on their current brood, telling Us that the “toughest age” is the tween to teen transition. “We want [them] in the house at all times,” he says. “But, of course, we understand that … we have to let go.”
