Is She Taking on Too Much?
There’s no denying that Kelly Clarkson is one of the hardest-working women in showbiz — but now that the singer, TV host and Voice coach is also hosting American Song Contest with Snoop Dogg, some pals worry she’s overwhelmed. “She works just a staggering amount of hours per week,” a source says. While Clarkson will be paid what she deserves (the overall NBC deal is worth a reported $20 million a year), it all comes with extra stress. Adds the source: “She’s also feeling the pressure as she takes over Ellen DeGeneres’ daytime slot .... alarm bells are going off.”
