Awkward! There seemed to be some confusion when Porter announced the award for Best R&B album was going to Jazmine Sullivan for 2021’s Heaux Tales. Under the impression he had said H.E.R.’s name, the “Damage” singer’s team “stood up, cheered and hugged” H.E.R. before realizing they had misheard.

Date Night

Still so in love! John Legend and his wife of eight years, Chrissy Teigen, were spotted “holding each other” and “swaying back and forth” during one of the evening’s performances.

Get Into It

Despite announcing her plans to retire from music just days earlier, Doja Cat — who won Best Pop Duo Performance with SZA for “Kiss Me More” — was in good spirits, voguing to J. Balvin’s set with a friend.

So Vain

He’s his own biggest fan! Presenter Jared Leto was spotted taking solo selfies in between performances.

Later that night, he did a two-step dance with Diplo before chatting up Addison Rae and her boyfriend, musician Omer Fedi: “She touched [Jared’s] hair and looked like she was really enjoying their conversation.”

PDA Pair

No strangers to flaunting their romance, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker were spotted kissing several times throughout the show — sponsored by FIJI and Grey Goose — with the reality star also sitting on the drummer’s lap in the audience. At one point, the lovebirds had a major makeout session following Lil Nas X’s performance. (“It was uncomfortably long,” admits the source.) It seems Kardashian’s friendship with Rae has cooled, too: They “chatted a few times, but didn’t seem like besties.”

Fan Favorite

Lil Nas X had a big night, singing a medley of his hits — but it seemed meeting Lady Gaga was what rattled him most. “He was visibly nervous, hopping up and down with excitement,” the source tells Us, noting the rapper walked away from their interaction “holding his heart.” One person less enthusiastic about chatting with the songstress? Donatella Versace, who “gave a small hello and walked off” after Gaga approached her. It was “a weird moment,” confides the source.

In The Air

When Carrie Underwood took to the stage to perform her new single, “Ghost Story,” her killer legs weren’t the only thing that had people talking. The source tells Us audience members — including Kardashian and Rae — “were holding their mouths and noses” due to the fog circulating in the room. Still, Underwood left the event a winner, taking home Best Roots Gospel Album for My Savior.
