KEEPING THE CALM
With three young kids at home, Catherine Giudici is an expert at managing meltdowns. “It’s different for each child,” the Bachelor alum, 35, tells Us of Samuel, 5, Isaiah, 3, and Mia, 2, whom she shares with hubby Sean Lowe. “I think you have to understand the individual child that you’re connecting with or trying to learn about.” The Washington native notes they each have unique personalities, calling her eldest “sensitive,” his brother “happy-go-lucky” and their sister a “drama queen.” The former reality star says she has “learned over time” how to handle the trio, gushing about her husband’s influence. “I always think, ‘What would I want Sean Lowe to do when I come to him?’ Because tantrums [happen] when [children are] comfortable with you,” Giudici explains. “I’m like, ‘That’s what I do to Sean Lowe.’ Like, I’m great in front of everybody else, but I come home and vent to my husband because I know he’s going to love me unconditionally. So when my kids do that to me, I have to take it as them loving me and feeling safe.”
