The A-lister has found love with former model Elsina Khayrova
Off the market! Tom Cruise is serious about Russian socialite Elsina Khayrova — find out more about their romance.
In early December, Tom Cruise was spotted cozying up to socialite Elsina Khayrova at a party in London’s Grosvenor Square. Going public was a big step for the super-private actor, but a source tells Us he’s quite serious about the 36-year-old Russian. “Apparently, Tom and Elsina have been together a while now,” says the source. “They’re very happy, and Tom’s extremely confident about it working out for the long term.” The source says the pair have been spending a good deal of time together in the U.K., where Cruise, 61, owns a six-bedroom penthouse apartment. “They’ve hung out at Tom’s favorite private members club and regularly enjoy afternoon tea and gourmet dinners out in London.”
Cruise and Khayrova met through mutual friends in the city’s social scene. “Tom’s become a popular figure in London among the well-heeled, elite types,” says the source. “What started as a basic friendship quickly turned into something more special.”
The former model split from the father of her two children, Russian oligarch Dmitry Tsetkov, last year, with their divorce making headlines over
Khayrova allegedly hiding her $1 million handbag collection in the bitter fight over assets. In an interview with the Daily Mail, Tsetkov said he was “happy” for his ex but warned that she has “expensive and luxurious tastes,” so Cruise “should keep his eyes and wallet wide open.”
The Top Gun star has already introduced Khayrova to his eldest kids, Isabella, 30, and Connor, 28 — and they both approve. “They think Elsina is great and are so happy to see that their dad has love in his life again,” says the source, adding that Cruise had been waiting a while to meet the right person to settle down with. “He wanted to take his time and not rush into any relationships just for the sake of it.”
The twice-divorced actor is even open to walking down the aisle again. “Tom is going into 2024 totally energized, excited and feeling healthier and happier than he has in years,” says the source. “This is a very special time for him, and having a serious relationship in his life that he can build on is the icing on the cake.”
