AMANDA BATULA

In season 8 — described by Batula as “one of our most fun summers ever” — the Loverboy creative director’s two-year marriage to Kyle Cooke hits a rough patch. “We handle things differently,” she explains. Thankfully, their challenges have only strengthened their relationship: “We’re learning, growing and becoming better versions

of ourselves every day.”

WEST WILSON

The reality TV newbie kicked off his getaway with a bang: “I may or may not have had a medical accident that left me with a few scars,” Wilson shares. The sports journalist was stoked to let loose — “Our parties were so damn cool” — but the highlight was leaning on his roomies during a professional crisis while filming: “The support I got made me so f**king happy.”

KYLE COOKE

Cooke and Batula grapple with conflicting visions about their future. “She’s thinking [about] a house with a yard, but our life is in the city,” he explains. “We’re just trying to find our way.” Meanwhile, the Loverboy CEO and Carl Radke got their friendship “back on track” while in the house, noting that the entire cast “almost

had too much fun.”

DANIELLE OLIVERA

After getting her post-breakup mojo back in season 3 of Winter House, the TV personality decided “to bring that [energy] to Summer House. I had fun.” Olivera also made amends with former bestie Lindsay Hubbard, supporting her pal through her split from Radke: “I’m on

Team Lindsay.”

GABBY PRESCOD

Talk about a tease! “Season 8 ate,” the fashion director shares, noting new roomies Wilson and Jesse Solomon brought fresh energy to the group. “The parties are bigger, the dynamic is cohesive — it’s generally a really good time.” Though she struggled with her parents moving to Texas, there was one silver lining: “I strengthened a lot of my friendships in the house.”

CARL RADKE

Fans were shocked when Radke called off his wedding to Hubbard last August, but he’s ready for the story to play out: “I believe people are going to watch this season and hopefully understand how everything unfolded,” he says. Still, that doesn’t mean reliving those moments will be easy: “I’m nervous,” he adds. But, “I’m [in] a new chapter

and staying optimistic.”

CIARA MILLER

According to the model, there were many highs (“I got my own room [and] we took it up a notch with our parties”) and lows, but Miller wouldn’t change last summer for anything: “I don’t share a house with 10 crazy people for no reason. We’re there to have fun.” One person who brought the shenanigans? Solomon! “He never failed to keep the

house entertained.”

JESSE SOLOMON

No stranger to the Hamptons scene, newcomer Solomon admits he was “surprised how hard” it was for his roommates “to get along in a huge house with their besties.” The investor relations VP admits he dealt with “unnecessary beef” before being able “to fully be myself.” Luckily, he still managed to make it a summer to remember: “[There were] a lot of laughs.”

LINDSAY HUBBARD

Fans will follow the end of her engagement, but the marketing pro promises it isn’t all somber. “It was a summer of the girls, and the energy is high when the girls get along,” she says. Hubbard admits there were “red flags” during the end (“Carl’s demeanor, energy and tone shifted”), but she has no regrets: “Everything happens

the way it’s supposed to.”

PAIGE DeSORBO

DeSorbo says this season’s highlight was “showing everyone how much fun” she and Batula can be. Despite feuding

with Radke and Hubbard during the season 7 reunion, the podcast host is staying neutral in the wake of their breakup — “I’d never pick a side” — but she was surprised by the lack of romance, teasing: “You’ll have to wait and see who I’m talking about.”
