MLB could take lid off Houston
Major League Baseball was weighing whether to keep the roof at Minute Maid Park open or closed as the Houston Astros host the Chicago White Sox in the second leg of the World Series that began Tuesday night. The Astros were 36- 17 at home when it was closed during the regular season, 15- 11 when it was rolled back and 2-0 in gamest hat began indoors and 7 nished in fresh air. During the regular season, the Astros pick their environment. But during the postseason, the commissioner’s of 7 ce makes that call. “ I don’t think they should step in and tell us what to do in our 7 eld because it’s our home- 7 eld advantage now,” Game 3 starter Roy Oswalt said. “ I think Chicago had their advantage there — cold, windy. . . . So let’s bring it back home and give the advantage to us now.”
