Statins don’t reduce risk of breast cancer

Cholesterol- lowering statin drugs, increasingly seen as having other health bene; ts, have no effect on women’s risk of developing breast cancer, a study ; nds. Some previous studies have suggested that statins may protect against cancers of the breast, colon, pancreas, esophagus and liver.
