Amazon, USPS deal

-

Through a partnership with the U. S. Postal Service, Amazon begins Sunday delivery in Los Angeles and New York, and will expand to other parts of the country next year.

This deal is sort of a slap in the face to UPS, isn’t it?

Glendon Kushner

This is called free enterprise. If UPS wants to compete, maybe it should offer even more delivery options.

Bob Andrus

This is wrong in so many ways. The U. S. Postal Service can barely keep its doors open now. It should be reducing delivery days, not adding days. It has too many issues to add this to the list.

Dan Milligan

I know everyone loves Amazon, but that company is a job- killer. People buying all their stuff over the Internet is ruining small brick- andmortar businesses.

No tax and no overhead means Amazon sells stuff much cheaper.

Scotty Leon

The U. S. Postal Service has a lot of union workers with way too many benefits. Now they want to work on Sunday.

I wonder how much more the American taxpayers are going to fork out for this.

Cesar Figueroa

Do you enjoy an eight- hour work day? Do you enjoy two days off a week? Health benefits? A living wage?

We all benefit from the fight that unions have made over time.

Dale Grogan

I would like to hear what the postal carriers think about Sunday deliveries. I hope that working on Sunday is voluntary and that they get double time for it.
