ISIS MILITANTS ATTACK AFGHAN MILITARY HOSPITAL
Islamic State fighters dressed as doctors stormed a military hospital in the Afghan capital Wednesday, killing more than 30 people and wounding dozens, authorities said.
The attack happened at the Sardar Mohammad Daud Khan Hospital, a 400- bed facility located near two civilian hospitals in Kabul’s diplomatic quarter.
The gunmen stormed the building after a suicide bomber detonated his explosive belt at the main entrance gate, Afghan broadcaster TOLOnews reported.
People were trapped in the building as militants and government security forces clashed for hours. Interior Ministry spokesman Sediq Sediqqi said the four attackers were eventually killed.
