Prescott could have big day vs. 49ers

- Charles Curtis @bycharlescurtis USA TODAY Sports

The fantasy football season is already flying by. Can you believe it’s already Week 7? As usual, it’s time to think about your lineup for this coming week. Remember to check out USA TODAY Sports’ rankings at sports.usatoday.com.

Studs

QB Dak Prescott, Cowboys: Fresh off a bye, he gets to face the 29th-ranked 49ers passing defense that just gave up a big day to Kirk Cousins. RB Mark Ingram, Saints:

He has all the makings of an RB1 now that Adrian Peterson is gone. The Packers are 25th in the NFL in rushing yards allowed, so enjoy another huge game from the veteran. WR Michael Crabtree,

Raiders: The Chiefs struggle to contain receivers. The veteran will enter this game with two consecutive six-catch, onetouchdown contests and is a good bet to have another great performance. TE Jimmy Graham, Seahawks: The Giants give up the most fantasy points per game to tight ends, including a whopping seven touchdowns.

Duds

QB Philip Rivers, Chargers: The Broncos will bounce back from an embarrassing loss to the Giants. Expect their stellar passing defense to resume shutting down opposing quarterbacks. RB Javorius Allen, Ravens:

It’s the same drill every week: Avoid running backs who face the Vikings, especially those sharing time with guys such as Alex Collins. TE Cameron Brate, Buccaneers: Even if Jameis Winston plays, the Bills are tough against tight ends. There might be a better streaming option out there if you can carry two tight ends for one week.

Sleepers

QB Brett Hundley, Packers: How’s this for a first-start matchup? At home, against the Saints, who have looked improved on defense but gave up 312 yards through the air to the Lions in Week 6. RB Joe Mixon, Bengals: The Steelers are surprisingly bad against opposing runners even after allowing just 28 yards to the Chiefs. That could mean upside for Mixon as the rookie’s stock continues to climb. WR Pierre Garcon, 49ers:

No touchdowns yet, but he’s been targeted 56 times, including 12 looks Sunday in a loss to the Redskins. Maybe the change in quarterback helps him grab more of those targets against a Cowboys team that isn’t great at shutting down wideouts? TE Austin Hooper, Falcons:

The Patriots continue to struggle on defense, and that includes problems with tight ends. Also worth noting: Hooper totaled 16 targets the last two weeks. Even if Mohamed Sanu returns, there’s a chance for Hooper to shine.
