Pres­i­dent Trump has re­sumed ef­forts to put his stamp on the Fed­eral Re­serve, ac­cord­ing to CNBC. Nom­i­nees are Richard Clarida, a Columbia Uni­ver­sity econ­o­mist and global strate­gic ad­viser at bond giant Pimco tapped for vice chair, and Michelle Bow­man, Kansas bank com­mis­sioner, cho­sen for an open gover­nor’s spot. Trump is try­ing to fill four va­can­cies at the cen­tral bank.
