Suspect in killing of 4 hostages during standoff has died

Authorities say a man who killed four people during a hostage situation at a Mississippi home has died.

Public Safety Department spokesman Capt. John Poulos said the suspect was shot during a 12-hour standoff in Clinton.

Authorities said the standoff started around 2:30 a.m., Saturday when officers sent to a domestic complaint at the house were fired on. Clinton city spokesman Mark Jones said four people were found dead in the home when the standoff ended.
