According to Lapchick, in Division I, 23.6% of all men’s head coaches were African American, which increased by 1.2 percentage points from 2017- 2018. However, this was still 1.6 percentage points below the all- time high of 25.2% reported in 2005- 2006.

NFL Commission­er Roger Goodell while announcing that clubs should hold training camp at team facilities rather than going to an offsite location as is customary for some franchises. The only exception would be cases in which teams cannot by law host training camp at their own facilities, the memo said. The commission­er also said the NFL and NFLPA agreed that no joint practices will be permitted this year during training camp.
