MAKER OF HAMPTON BAY CEILING FANS ISSUES RECALL

The maker of Hampton Bay ceiling fans has recalled about 182,000 fans sold at Home Depot because the blades can detach while in use. King of Fans, of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida., said it received 47 reports about blades detaching from the fan. The Hampton Bay 54- inch Mara Indoor/ Outdoor ceiling fans were sold at Home Depot stores nationwide and online from April 2020 through October 2020.
