Zooey Deschanel doled out her own award for MVP of 2020. The winner? Her boyfriend, “Property Brothers” star Jonathan Scott. The couple, who met in October 2019 while filming a “Carpool Karaoke” segment for “The Late Late Show With James Corden,” rang in the new year on Instagram with a post celebrating their relationship. “My 2020 MVP was this guy, who always made me feel happy in spite of a weird and uncertain year,” wrote Deschanel, 40. “Hoping 2021 is full of silver linings for everyone.” Scott, 42, returned her sentiments in the comments section: “You make me the happiest, best version of me,” he wrote.
